Real talk: I've spent my entire career hyper-fixated on climbing the corporate ladder, working well over 40 hours each and every week chasing 'the dream'...

The thing is, I'm good at what I do and it's been easy to get caught up in false sense of satisfaction. But somewhere along the way, I lost sight of me. I forgot who I was, what I stood for and what kind of mark I want to leave on this crazy world. More times than I care to admit, I've literally told other people, "I used to be fun, I promise!" The thing is, I'm pretty sure I was really saying that to remind myself of that fact... 

Instead of acknowledging the persistent feeling in my gut that I'm supposed to figure out my purpose and use it to help others find their own way out of the corporate grind and fog of doom and destruction... I prioritized work over everything else.

And then finally, one day I work up and realized that 'the dream' isn't all it's cracked up to be and I need more. I am meant for more.

So here I am — doing what I want in my little corner of the internet. Sharing things I find joy in doing and hope others get something out of it. Inspiring badass career women to do more of what makes them happy and motivates them to be what they truly want to be. Looking for excuses to nerd out on the things I'm passionate about and talk about financial and time freedom because I. am. here. for. it.

Excuses, reality TV, the Oxford comma, unloading the dishwasher, running if I'm not being chased and corporate ego fluffing.
